The Gibbs Library can be found at Wesley Memorial Church, Oxford. It is the newest library in the oldest Methodist city, and the only research collection in Britain which is solely dedicated to supporting Methodist mission. It is home to our research activity; supports Methodist heritage visits and pilgrimages to the City of Oxford; and houses a number of special collections, including the collections of the Wesley Historical Society; the Methodist Church; and Westminster Training College.
Our collections can be explored below; searched as part of our online library catalogue; viewed collectively in our illustrated art catalogue; or searched as part of the National Archives’ Discovery catalogue.
